FANEM Opens Office in Delhi
Fanem, a Brazilian leader in the manufacturing of neonatology
products, has begun its activities in India in 2010 by opening an office in
Delhi. With 85 years of existence and exporting its products to 93 countries,
Fanem is considered the most representative Brazilian company in the world industry
of medical equipment, especially in the neonatology area, with a good share
in the global market of incubators.
India has been selected as Fanem's first international base due to its similarity
to Brazil as regards its healthcare needs. In addition to the office, Fanem
intends to gather distributors willing to know and develop the market for its
products. As a start of activities in the Indian marketplace, Fanem will promote
meetings with the local neonatal healthcare staff by means of physicians, nurses
and clinical engineers. The idea is to gradually discover the marketplace which,
just like the Brazilian market, is expanding in the maternal-child health segment.
Fanem is an example of a successful Brazilian company. During its first years
of existence back in the 20s, it launched the first electrical medical appliances
in Brazil. In subsequent years, it has incorporated unprecedented techniques
and methodologies and Fanem has consolidated itself as a leader in the Brazilian
incubator marketplace. More recently, in the past 10 years Fanem has gone through
a modernisation process and has attained new directions conquering the external
marketplace with high credibility.
The company has always invested in using the research and development for creating
innovative products and excellence of its manufacturing processes. Its latest
rollout, Ampla, is an innovative mobile Intensive Care Unit provided with the
largest number of accessories and functionalities ever produced by Fanem. Its
neonatal line also includes equipment such as Babypuff, a child resuscitation
machine; the Babypap, which has been developed for treating pathologies by oxygen
therapy in newborns; Bilitron the super-led phototherapy and Bilitron Bed, for
treatment with reverse phototherapy. Fanem also provides laboratory product
lines, such as centrifuges, climatic chambers; in addition to the Diagnosis
and Biosafety lines.
Medical Fair India 2010
Between March 12 and 14, Fanem will participate in the 16th
International Exhibition and Conference on Diagnostic, Medical Equipments and
Technology, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, in the city of Mumbai.
