NATHEALTH to unveil Indian Healthcare Roadmap 2025

The healthcare sector body NATHEALTH successfully completed one year recently. It is organising its second annual event in the national capital on January 20, 2015. NATHEALTH will reportedly release a white paper – Aarogya Bharat 2025, in association with Bain & Company at the event.

Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, JP Nadda and Union Minister for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Dr Harsh Vardhan have been invited to unveil the ‘White Paper – Aarogya Bharat 2025’ in the presence of President of NATHEALTH, Shivinder Mohan Singh, Founder President, Dr Prathap C Reddy and Secretary General, Anjan Bose.

The agenda of the event will also include a round table session on ‘Indian Healthcare – Roadmap 2025: The Journey Ahead’ and a debate on ‘Healthcare Delivery Priorities’, ‘Science and Technology’, ‘Funding and New Health Systems’ and ‘Skilling’.

The NATHEALTH-NASSCOM deliberation session will focus on ’IT’s Transformational Role in Healthcare’.

Bose informs that the origin of NATHEALTH was to help in accelerating progress of Indian Healthcare by creating collaborative spirit and initiatives across various segments. The journey so far has been positive with good initiatives like the one with NASSCOM on IT’s transformational role in healthcare.

Singh says, set up in May 2012, NATHEALTH aspires to be the credible voice of India’s healthcare sector with an imperative to work for the benefit of the people of our great country, to address wide ranging issues important to India’s healthcare stakeholders and to champion the growth of this sector which is core to the robust development of the country. Its credibility has quickly gained traction amongst government circles and leading industry bodies, and its current spread of membership represents the wide variety of stakeholders that comprise the healthcare ecosystem in India.
