Portea’s comprehensive, tech-enabled home healthcare services will be delivered to patients of KIMSHospitals in Secunderabad and Kondapur

KIMS Group of Hospitals and Portea Medical, announced a partnership to expand the delivery of Portea’s comprehensive, tech-enabled home healthcare services to patients of KIMSHospitals in Secunderabad and Kondapur.

As a result of the agreement, patients discharged from the two KIMS facilities will receive medical care that is customised to their requirements and delivered in the patient’s home. Depending on the specific patient requirements, Portea’s comprehensive offering will include five components. They are in-person medical care delivery by Portea Medical’s doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and nursing attendants; Provision of medical equipment on rental / sale; Collection of lab samples and delivery of medical reports; Point-of-care medical devices for continuous monitoring; and ongoing patient support via phone / chat provided by Portea’s clinicians.

Portea’s services will be provided in close collaboration with specialists from KIMS Hospitals.

Commencing with KIMS Hospitals in Secuderabad and Kondapur, which have a combined capacity of approximately 1000 beds, Portea and KIMS will consider expanding the relationship to managing care across all KIMS hospitals in the Telangana / AP region.
