eKincare conducts study on lifestyle related conditions

Data was collected from 5,000 respondents in Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Vishakhapatnam

Hyderabad-based, eKincare, has recently conducted a study on lifestyle related conditions in Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Vishakhapatnam. The data was collected from 5,000 respondents based on Body Mass Index (BMI), blood pressure and random blood sugar samples collected across the three cities. Respondents residing in Vishakhapatnam showed 26 per cent high level of blood pressure as opposed to Hyderabad which stood at 18 per cent and Vijaywada at 15 per cent.

Vijaywada had the highest number of obese at 19 per cent, followed by Vishakhapatnam and Hyderabad at 11 per cent. Vijayawada also topped in diabetics with seven per cent, followed by Hyderabad at four per cent and Vizag at two per cent.
