LVPEI opens Newborn Eye Health Alliance at Bhubaneswar centre

The centre is capable of handling most critical newborn eye diseases

LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) inaugurated the Newborn Eye Health Alliance (NEHA)at their Bhubaneswar centre – the Shri Mithu Tulsi Chanrai campus. LVPEI Bhubaneswar provides Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) services in Eastern India and paediatric retinal imaging, neonatal intensive care facilities in addition to ROP care under one roof. NEHA, which is supported by MH Dalmia, Former President, OCL, will further enhance LVPEI’s capabilities and increase the reach in Odisha.

The centre has a team of paediatric retina specialist and support staff of anaesthesiologist, optometrist and specially trained nurses capable of handling the most critical newborn eye diseases, especially ROP.
