The accreditation confirms patient safety and quality of healthcare are in compliance with the NABH Standards

Ambuja Cements run Ambujanagar Multispeciality Hospital has been conferred with the Pre-Accreditation (Entry Level) Certificate by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH), a recognition that strengthens company’s commitment to drive prosperity in rural communities. It is the only hospital in the entire Gir Somnath and Junagadh districts to obtain accreditation certificate – that confirms patient safety and quality of healthcare are in compliance with the NABH Standards.

The assessment team of NABH – a constituent board of Quality Council of India – evaluated the healthcare being provided to patients, safety standards and services in the hospital before granting certification under Pre-Accreditation Entry Level – Hospital programme which is valid till October 2020.

Delighted over the certification, Ajay Kapur, MD and CEO, Ambuja Cement said, “We take great pride in this recognition. It is yet another testimony for the stellar work being done towards offering quality healthcare to create healthier communities. The company lays equal emphasis on both business growth and communities’ development. In fact, communities around our operations give us the license to operate. Therefore, the health and well-being of not just our employees but the communities are equally significant.”

The hospital has a capacity of 64 beds and offers state-of-the-art facilities.
