Dozee and Midmark India have come together to create connected bed platform to automate and integrate patient monitoring in hospital beds, primarily for non-ICU environments. These specially engineered intelligent connected beds would enable hospitals to provide continuous patient monitoring in HDU, Step-down ICU and any other non-ICU ward, thereby delivering next level of patient safety, improved clinical outcomes, driving operational efficiencies and digital transformation.

This intelligent connected bed can monitor vital parameters such as heart rate, respiration rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, ECG, and temperature. It also offers an Early Warning System (EWS) that provides alerts to the concerned health care providers for timely intervention. Such critical information can help healthcare professionals make data-backed, swift clinical decisions. Further, these connected beds are integrated into central command centers and the hospital’s Health Management Information System (HMIS).

Connected beds make patient movements within the hospital highly efficient as the patient monitoring sensors are embedded directly in the bed.
