HealthPlix Technologies launches AI-powered H.A.L.O to transform doctor-patient interactions

HealthPlix Technologies, India’s largest AI-powered EMR software provider, has launched H.A.L.O, a new solution designed to transform doctor-patient interactions by seamlessly converting conversations into digital prescriptions. This technology, reportedly,  first of its kind, allows doctors to generate prescriptions without typing or writing. The AI listens to the conversation between the doctor and patient, then summarizes it into a structured prescription. H.A.L.O currently supports English and Hindi, with plans to add five more languages within the next six months.

With only seven doctors for every 10,000 people in India, optimising doctors’ time and enabling them to see more patients is crucial for improving access to care. The adoption of healthcare digital technologies over the next 1-2 years is essential for addressing the health burden and improving healthcare access for everyone. When HealthPlix initially launched its EMR, which can generate a digital prescription in 30 seconds, adoption rates rose from 0 per cent to 4 per cent. Reaching 40 per cent adoption within the next 1-2 years is a critical goal, and innovative technologies like H.A.L.O are key to achieving this target.

A significant aspect of improving health outcomes is ensuring that patients adhere to the treatment plans prescribed by doctors. H.A.L.O’s ability to provide detailed transcripts of consultations helps patients remember critical medical advice, supporting better adherence to recommendations.
