HCAH appoints Dr Krishna B as PM&R Specialist to strengthen post-hospitalisation services

In response to the rising demand for specialised rehabilitation services in the Delhi NCR region, HCAH Rehab & Recovery Centre (RRC) has appointed Dr Krishna B as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Specialist. This move aims to enhance HCAH’s ability to offer patient-centred post-hospitalisation recovery and rehabilitation services across India.

Dr Krishna completed her MBBS at the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, followed by an MD in PM&R from AIIMS New Delhi. She also holds a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. Dr Krishna is known for her expertise in spinal cord injuries, stroke recovery, musculoskeletal diagnostics, and advanced rehabilitation techniques. Her experience and commitment to improving patient outcomes will support HCAH in addressing the rising incidence of stroke cases in India.

The role of PM&R specialists, like Dr Krishna, is vital in the context of stroke rehabilitation. It is essential for patients to regain independence and improve their quality of life after a stroke, and Dr Krishna’s appointment strengthens HCAH’s dedication to providing personalised, evidence-based care.
