KIMS Bahrain Medical Center celebrates 10th anniversary
KIMS Bahrain Medical Center (KBMC) recently celebrated its 10th anniversary where KBMS officials have vowed to continue providing service excellence in the Kingdom of Bahrain and to maintain its leading role in serving the community. High level of dignitaries, along with KMBC’s high-ranking directors as well as various press and media representatives took part in the press conference.
KBMC opened its doors on July 25, 2004 in Umm Al Hassam, Bahrain, as it was the first international centre for the KIMS Group in partnership with Bahraini partner Ahmed Jawahery to open in the region and the first private medical centre in the Kingdom. In 2004, it started off with two doctors only, by the end of its first year, it expanded to contain nine departments, while today it employs more than 93 employees including 20 doctors across 13 specialities. KBMC is also the first centre in the GCC that gained the accreditation of the Australian Council of Healthcare Standard International (ACHSI).
During the press conference, Jawahery, who is also the Chairman of KBMC, emphasised on the major role of the hospital’s management and medical staff in this successful journey. “It has been ten fruitful years of success, gained through the incredible dedication of our management and medical staff. We will continue to be committed to providing the highest level of care to the society, utilising some of the most talented physicians and innovative technology,” he said.
On the other hand, Dr MI Sahadulla, Chairman, KIMS Group and Vice Chairman, KBMC said “I am proud to be part of this successful organisation. Since it was established in 2004, KBMC has been a cutting-edge health care provider offering the services of the most experienced and qualified medical team in addition to the high-end medical equipment. KBMC has come a long way to reach where we are today following its vision to provide quality healthcare at affordable cost.”
On this occasion, the Board of Directors led by Jawahery and Dr Sahadulla unveiled a new loyalty card- KIMS Care Card. Talking about this new scheme, Jawahery added, “This is a token of our gratitude towards our old and loyal patients. This card will make them eligible for a yearly health check plus 20 per cent discount on consultations, laboratory and radiology tests and three per cent discount on pharmacy. These benefits are valid throughout the life of the patient.”
Dr Sahadulla added, “We are also offering significant discounts on consultations for the month of October for all patients as part of the 10th anniversary celebration.”
