Apollo Hospitals played host to the first of its kind international forum on cancer management in third world countries held at the largest conclave on Cancer in India at ITC Grand Chola Chennai. The conclave, was largely attended by health ministry officials from African nations like Tanzania and Zimbabwe, and has 2,100 delegates hailing from 28 countries. The three-day conference witnessed educational sessions on various developments in the area of cancer management conducted by national and international faculties. Cancer warriors and conquerors came forward to share their stories on how they overcame the deadly disease and how it has changed their lives for the better.
