Avantor Performance Materials to highlight pharmaceutical technology capabilities at CPhI Worldwide 2013

Avantor Performance Materials will display its capabilities as a collaborative partner and provider of high-quality pharmaceutical speciality chemistries and technology solutions at the CPhI Worldwide 2013 exhibition and Speaker’s Corner, October 22-24, at the Messe Frankfurt in Germany.

Avantor’s ‘Pharma Confidence’ exhibit, located in booth 61E67, will contain product and technology highlights about the company’s established JT Baker and Macron Fine Chemicals brands of multi-compendial products. Booth personnel also will be available to discuss Avantor’s commitment to collaboration in optimising the use of its products to specific requirements of its customers, in order to contribute to enhancing patient welfare.

Booth visitors will learn how the company’s chemistries can help pharma and biopharma manufacturers scale up faster and reduce time to market, from discovery to full-scale production. Information on the company’s  range of cGMP-manufactured process intermediate and inorganic excipient products, as well as established products such as salts and sugars, also will be available.

In addition to the company’s exhibit, Avantor experts Nandu Deorkar, Vice President of R&D, and William Hesselink, Application Project Manager, will deliver a joint presentation on ‘Controlling Biopharmaceutical Process and Product Variability’ at the CPhI Speaker’s Corner scientific education program. Designed for formulation scientists and manufacturers, the presentation will address a manufacturing strategy for critical raw materials and demonstrate how controlling the variability can improve processes and end-products. The presentation will be held on Thursday, October 24, at 11:00 am.
