3M Healthcare has won the prestigious QCI–DL Shah National Award for Healthcare Services from the Quality Council of India (QCI). The award was presented to 3M India by Arun Maira, Chairman, QCI and Member of the Planning Commission, at Delhi.
3M has bagged the award under the ‘Quality Control in Hospital Sterilization’ category for its significant contribution towards infection prevention, enabling speedy recovery and positive patient outcomes at reduced healthcare costs.
Infection control is one of the top most priorities in a hospital to help improve patient outcomes and reduce length of stay in hospitals. Through its customer centric and well appreciated programmes, 3M Infection Prevention Division, part of the 3M Healthcare group has been training and educating healthcare professionals leading the way to upgrading practices across the country.
3M had earlier won a national award as the Wound Management Company of the Year at the Frost & Sullivan Healthcare Excellence Awards.
