SRL inaugurates diagnostics lab in Beas

SRL is launching its state-of-art laboratory in Beas. Strategically located opposite Beas Railway station, the laboratory is fully equipped to handle more than 4000 tests, ranging from the routine to highly advanced, and covering most diseases known to mankind, informs a news release. Dedicating the lab to the people of Punjab, Sanjeev Vashishta, CEO, SRL Ltd said “Being at the apex of three states, Beas – the riverfront town in Amritsar district of Punjab, is best poised to hold a state-of-the-art reference laboratory to cater to the healthcare needs of the people of the large region comprising the states of Punjab, Himachal, J&K and parts of Haryana”.

Vashishta adds “Our lab in Beas is one of its kinds in whole of North India and perhaps the only Reference Lab in the Northern States of Punjab, Haryana, J & K, Himachal & Rajasthan. This Reference Lab would be connected to the remotest areas in the above states by SRL authorised collection points which depend on the company’s own efficient logistics system. This Lab will therefore ensure quick turnaround time for testing the samples for the esoteric tests which are being sent to Delhi or Mumbai presently. Apart from this, the world class technology used in the reference lab will give lots of confidence to the discerning Medical practitioners and the public at large in the region who expect high quality testing and reporting. Quality reporting and quick turnaround time will help immensely the patients to start the treatment at an early date.  He further added, SRL’s endeavor is to alleviate the pain from the faces of the people who are suffering from various ailments and one small step to keep them healthy by offering superior quality test results”.

The lab will offer quality diagnostics services ranging from basic blood counts, blood sugar tests, liver function tests to microbiology and serology including tests for HIV and Hepatitis B &C, food intolerance etc. The laboratory also offers many preventive health check panels

The Beas lab will also be facilitating the sample home collection facility. Towards this endeavour a dedicated helpline has been provided.
