5th edition of HPI Exhibition and Summit to be held in Mumbai

The 5th edition of Hospital Planning & Infrastructure (HPI) Exhibition and Summit will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon in Mumbai from October 11 to 13, 2018. Dr Deepak R Sawant, Minister of Public Health & Family Welfare Managing Director – Maharashtra, will inaugurate the summit and discuss his vision for the future of healthcare in Maharashtra.

HPI expo and summit will be a gathering of those involved in planning, designing and building healthcare facilities across the region and brings experts together to uncover and discuss solutions to the challenges involved in building and retrofitting world-class hospital infrastructure in India. The 5th edition of HPI will host top healthcare providers of India who exhibit futuristic and affordable healthcare services, CEO’s, CXO’s and other top management who are key decision makers and leaders. This year the show will host multiple master classes, healthcare awards, Healthcare Startup Showcase 2018 and the HPI and HOSMAC HHAC Competition.

The themes for the three day event are ‘How Technology is driving the future of healthcare’; ‘Disruption: The future of healthcare is here’; and ‘Design and its impact in healthcare delivery.’ The other highlights of the event will be the third edition of the All India Architectural Student Competition HHAC 2018; HPI Healthcare Startup Showcase 2018; Masterclass on how hospitals can market themselves and brand themselves better; Masterclass on Reinventing Nursing Homes “Realigning nursing homes.. Realigning ideas.

HPI Healthcare Awards 2018 will recognise a hospital across the following categories: – Best Hospital for Innovative Technology Intervention – Best façade design for healthcare buildings Keeping in mind the needs and trends in the current healthcare industry, globally as well as in India the theme of the summit is ‘Delivering the future of Healthcare Design: Smart & Sustainable.’

Day 3 will have panel discussions on ‘Analysing the challenges in planning and designing of future proof hospitals’; ‘How can healthcare design be linked to clinical outcomes? Exploring how healthcare facilities can become healthcare facilitators; and ‘How empathy and analytics impact healthcare design solutions?’
