Aerogen and IARC sign MoU, aims to enhance respiratory therapy education

The collaboration aims to increase awareness of aerosol and respiratory therapies among healthcare professionals and students

Aerogen, an Ireland-based company providing acute-care aerosol drug delivery, and Indian Association of Respiratory Care (IARC) signed an MoU with the aim enhance respiratory therapy education and improve patient care across India. 

 This partnership aims to combine Aerogen’s expertise in aerosol drug delivery technology with IARC’s network, focusing on education and training programmes to upskill respiratory therapists for the evolving needs of critical care in India.

 Besides training, the collaboration also aims to increase awareness of aerosol and respiratory therapies among healthcare professionals and students. Additionally, by equipping healthcare professionals with the right knowledge, tools, and best practices, this partnership intends to contribute to an improved standard of respiratory care across the country. 

Aerogen entered the Indian market in 2019 with the support of Enterprise Ireland, the Irish government organisation responsible for promoting Irish enterprises globally.
