Asian Institute of Medical Sciences and RPS Group in tie-up

To build 100-bedded hospital project in Greater Faridabad

Asian Institute of Medical Sciences (Asian) plans to construct ‘Asian Fidelis’ a greenfield 100-bedded multispeciality hospital in RPS City, Greater Faridabad in JV with the RPS Group, a leading real estate player based in Faridabad. The announcement was made by Dr NK Pandey, Chairman and MD of Asian Institute of Medical Sciences on the fifth anniversary of the Asian Hospital along with Shanti Prakash, Chairman and Rakesh Chand Gupta, MD, RPS Group.

Speaking on the occasion Dr Pandey said, “Faridabad is the hot new destination for IT and ITES companies. Affordable real estate coupled with modern amenities and better connectivity are leading to huge influx of middle class families particularly in Greater Faridabad. Foreseeing a need for compassionate and affordable healthcare facility in Greater Faridabad we have planned this green field hospital. The multispeciality hospital will be built on an area of 1.25 acre, for which we are planning to invest approximately Rs 100 crores. Asian Fidelis will offer services in basic tertiary care like orthopedics, neurology, nehprology, obstetrics & gynecology, general surgery, internal medicine, paediatrics & neonatology etc. This will be the first multispeciality hospital in Greater Faridabad where patients will get all the medical facilities under a single roof”. Asian Hospital is also inaugurating a 60-bedded multi-speciality hospital in Yamuna Vihar, Shahdara on Feb 1, 2015.

Gupta said, “There are many residential projects in Greater Faridabad and in some projects thousands of people have already shifted. The population in RPS City, Sector 88 itself would be around 25000 after moving into their flats by year 2016 and also at that time the population of entire Greater Faridabad would cross five lakhs. We have tied up with the best hospital of Faridabad and will provide best medical facilities to residents of Greater Faridabad and target to complete the hospital by the end of year 2016.”
