Aster DM Healthcare, has announced an initiative to provide free check-ups to assess blood pressure and random blood sugar across all Aster Pharmacies in a bid to promote health and wellness among the community. The check-ups will be provided in 200+ Aster Pharmacy stores across Kerala, Karnataka and Telangana.
The initiative aims to empower individuals to take proactive steps towards monitoring their health, fostering a healthier and happier community
“By offering free random blood sugar and blood pressure check-ups, we aim to empower individuals to take charge of their health and make informed decisions. We believe that small actions, such as regular screenings, can lead to significant improvements in one’s health outcomes. Everyone deserves access to quality healthcare services, regardless of their financial circumstances,” said Rahul Kumbalathu, head, Aster Pharmacy, India.
According to its statement, the tests can be availed by walking into an Aster Pharmacy and asking for free Random Blood Sugar and Blood Pressure assessments. The tests will be conducted by trained pharmacists and the results will be shared with the customers. The pharmacists will offer generic remedies and recommendations for doctor consultations, if necessary.
“Aster Pharmacy is planning many more similar preventive healthcare initiatives at their pharmacies to create a healthy society while underscoring their commitment to healthcare and customer satisfaction. They also regularly conduct free health camps across different stores, apartments, and corporate offices with free check-ups like BP, RBS, Cholesterol, Dental and Eye check-ups,” it further informs.
