According to reports (Source: BCG and B Capital), the digital transformation of India’s healthcare industry has the potential to accelerate tenfold from $2.7 billion in 2022 to approximately $37 billion by 2030. This is being driven by rapid digitisation, the proliferation of innovative Healthtech platforms, partnerships between start-ups and established companies, and favorable funding environments for viable business models, supported by government initiatives, according to the report.
With this as a background, it is only befitting that establishments addressing these challenges through their innovative solutions should be recognised and encouraged. CII WR Innovation in Healthcare and Hospital Technology Awards provides a platform to recognise the contributions of those have set benchmarks of excellence in the healthcare space.

Through this platform, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) aims to honour excellence in the healthcare sector in India, who are revolutionising this sector through their innovative approach and processes
The 2nd edition of the CII Western Region Innovation in Healthcare and Hospital Technology Awards 2023 was organised on the sidelines of CII Hospital Tech 2023 Summit on 23 November 202 at the Lalit in Mumbai
Padma Shri Dr Ramakant Deshpande is Chairman of the Jury Committee of the HealthTech Awards 2023 and Executive Chairman, Asian Cancer Institute and Mr Krishnan V. is Chairman of CII WR Health Tech Awards 2023 and Chief Operating Officer, Raman and Weil
Applications were invited across seven categories. We rceieved 31 applications from healthcare facilities across the country. A stellar Jury consisting of 23 healthcare experts scrutinised the shortlisted applicants and scored the teams via virtual round of presentations, based on the evaluation framework of three parameters: Sustainability/scalability, impact, and initiative/project. The tabulated scores were verified by Chair of the Awards and Chair of the Jury. The winners were announced and felicitated across seven categories in a glittering awards ceremony on 2 November 2023.
