It is an initiative to educate and raise awareness amongst parents on the oral hygiene requirements of their children
Clove Dental has announced the commencement of its Summer Smiles Dental Camp. The camp is an initiative undertaken by the brand to educate and raise awareness amongst parents on the oral hygiene requirements of their children.
Reportedly, the camp offers enticing packages exclusively for children and teens, to address tooth decay (cavities / dental caries), crooked teeth and bad bites.
“In our Smiles for Schools programme, we provide comprehensive dental check-ups for Delhi NCR students. To date, we’ve seen over 32,000 students, and from the examinations we conducted, we’ve learned that three out of four Delhi NCR students have a dental problem that needs professional attention,” said Amarinder Singh, CEO, Clove Dental. “We launched our Summer Smiles Dental Camp to create awareness about the dental needs of Delhi NCR’s kids and teenagers and to offer competitively priced packages for the treatment of the problems that many kids and teens face. Our packages include tooth decay prevention treatments to address tooth decay – a problem experienced by many children – as well as all types of braces for the correction of crooked teeth and bad bites. These packages are available in our 50+ Delhi NCR clinics until 15 July 2015,” he said.
Parents can now visit any of Clove Dental’s 50+ clinics in Delhi NCR to avail the tooth decay prevention package for Rs 1,090 and the all-inclusive braces package for Rs 30,000.
“If brushing twice daily were enough, every child would have great teeth,” says Lt Gen (Dr) Vimal Arora, Chief Clinical Officer, Clove Dental. “We as parents often neglect the oral health of our kids, as compared to their general health. It’s important to know that both are interlinked and a child with poor oral health can never be a healthy child. A child’s oral health needs attention from the moment the first tooth appears in infancy,” he said.
