300 dentists from across India discuss global best practices in dental care
Clove Dental, a multi-speciality dental care chain from the house of Star Dental, organised first-of-its kind Leadership Conclave in Mumbai to discuss the global best practices in dental care and oral health. 300 Clove doctors from across India gathered to emphasise the philosophy of ethics and transparency and their commitment to offer best possible care to the patients. The conclave was inaugurated by Dr Babulal Sethia, President, Royal Society of Medicine, UK. A Consultant Congenital Heart Surgeon at the Royal Brompton, Dr Sethia is committed to development of healthcare initiatives in low and middle income countries and, since 1992, has participated in the delivery of surgical missions in a number of countries in Africa, Asia and South America.
Amarinder Singh, CEO, Clove Dental, said, “Awareness about dental care and oral hygiene is very low in India. The available dental health facilities are often not up to the mark. Since our inception in 2011, it has been our concentrated effort to introduce Indian customers to global standard dental care. We are also working towards raising awareness on the importance of dental health and oral hygiene and the serious impact that it can have on the overall health of an individual.”
Other eminent speakers present at the conclave were Louis Shakinovsky, Chairman; Dr. Nitin Doshi, New York-based DENTIST entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist and board member; Scott Bayman, Former CEO GE India and board member, Clove Dental, and Olivier Perier, MD SPDG and board member, Global Dental, Holding Company of Clove Dental
Inaugurating the conclave, Dr Babulal Sethia, President, Royal Society of Medicine, UK, said, “Dental health is critical to the overall health of an individual. The efforts undertaken by Clove to create awareness about the issue and introduce global best practices in India are indeed commendable. I congratulate Amar and his team and wish them the very best in their future endeavours.”
