Cytecare Cancer Hospital has appointed Dr G Rama Mohan Reddy, who will work as Consultant – Nuclear Medicine. Dr Reddy is an accomplished specialist in the field of Nuclear Medicine, with over eight years of experience. Having completed his MBBS from Kurnool Medical College, Andhra Pradesh, Dr Reddy then went on to complete his specialisation at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, in the Department of Nuclear Medicine (MD – Nuclear Medicine).
Having acquired valuable clinical experience as a senior resident at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi; Dr Reddy went on to head the department of PET-CT and Nuclear Medicine at EKO Diagnostic.
Dr Reddy is extremely active in the academic medical community and has published 13 international papers on topics such as PET-CT for detecting recurrent gastric adenocarcinoma, detection of recurrent diseases in colorectal cancer, among others in reputed journals such as Nuclear Medicine Communications, International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics. He is also a certified Radiological Safety Officer, with extensive training in the use of GE and SIEMENS machines to aid radio diagnosis and therapy.
