Unveils growth roadmap planned for the city over the next two months
Hyderabad-based health tech startup, DoctorC announced the official launch of its services in Bengaluru, along with its growth roadmap for the next two months. Reportedly, the company has already partnered with leading diagnostic centres in Bangalore, including Elbit Medical Diagnostic Center, Dr. Lal Pathlabs, Santosh Diagnostic and Scan Center and PathCare Labs and is in the process to tie up with more over the next two months, to offer its services to citizens in the city.
DoctorC is a mobile and internet application that seeks to bring transparency in medical testing. It enables consumers to compare prices and quality across various tests that include MRI, CT scans, ultrasound, blood tests, ECG, and EEG amongst others, across a variety of diagnostic centres in the city and book appointments. They organise local information about healthcare providers and services which help consumers make educated choices. In the process, they also provide discounts and allow the tests to be booked on the phone, online or through a mobile app.
“Bengaluru is a key market for us, with its higher concentration of tech-savvy demographic, who look for service delivery on-the-go. The city also has a large number of healthcare service providers, and we feel the time is right for us to forge partnerships that will take us to the next level of growth,” said Mansi Gandhi, COO and co-founder of DoctorC. “The ecosystem of users and investors is maturing fast in India. Consumers look for more options to transact online, while investors are showing greater interest towards creating an environment conducive for healthcare startups in India.” she added.
The company recently announced in September that it had raised Rs 2.5 crores through seed funding from California-based Leviathan Investments, Hyderabad-based Spice Capital, and Indian Angel Network members Sanjay Jesrani, founder and CEO of Go North Ventures.
