Dozee has announced that it has secured International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001:2013 certification, an international distinction that recognizes effective information security management.

The ISO 27001 is an international standard on information security management that enables organisations to manage the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details or information entrusted by third parties.

As part of India’s Digital India Mission, the government recognises the issue of cyber security and the need for robust laws to protect digital data. The recently proposed Digital Information Security in Healthcare Act (“DISHA”) seeks to provide for electronic health data privacy; confidentiality, security and standardisation; and establishment of National Digital Health Authority and Health Information Exchanges. This is being done for promotion/adoption of e-Health standards, to enforce privacy & security measures for electronic health data, and to regulate storage & exchange of Electronic Health Records.

Hospitals are currently using Dozee’s platform to convert any bed into a Step-Down ICU to continuously monitor a patient’s vitals including heart rate, respiration rate, oxygen saturation, temperature, blood pressure and ECG. The AI based alert engine notifies the critical care response teams of any abnormalities that may be detected before it becomes critical. The company has deployed its platform in nearly 6,000 beds in hospitals to monitor patients continuously and to help them enhance patient care and clinical outcomes.
