FUJIFILM India introduces Lung Navigation – Synapse 3D

The technology identifies three optimal paths leading to a lung lesion.

FUJIFILM India, introduced its latest innovation in lung navigation – Synapse 3D, during Amrita Bronchoscopy & Interventional Pulmonology (ABIP) event held in Kochi on 12th of May.

Synapse 3D represents an advancement in pulmonary imaging and diagnostics. Leveraging 3D technology, this device offers precision and insight into pulmonary conditions, empowering healthcare professionals with the tools they need to deliver optimal patient care.

Synapse 3D is equipped with technology that identifies three optimal paths leading to a lung lesion. With the help of radial EBUS, the doctor can have better yield which ultimately helps in precise diagnosis for timely intervention. A bronchoscope simulation is performed along the path, helping to visualise difficult procedures before performing an invasive exam. This will not only help in navigating the right path in lungs, but also save time and less discomfort to the patient with better diagnosis.

Dheeraj Chaudhri, Head of Endoscopy Systems Division, FUJIFILM India, shared, ” Synapse 3D represents the culmination of years of research and development, and we are thrilled to unveil it at the esteemed ABIP event. This innovative device marks a significant milestone in our journey towards enhancing pulmonary diagnostics and underscores our dedication to advancing healthcare solutions that make a tangible difference in patients’ lives.”
