Nursing Conclave ‘NurCon 2022’ recently held in Mumbai
Nursing Conclave-NurCon 2022 recently held in Mumbai with an initiative of Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital and saw a huge number of participation of nurses from various hospitals and nursing colleges across the state.
Healthcare experts across the state gathered to voice their concern over the high attrition of nurses in Indian hospitals and an exodus of trained nurses to other countries and felt that though there is no immediate solution in sight, the remedial measures can only be taken collectively by the leaders in the healthcare profession and the policy makers in government.
The topics and issues discussed at the conclave included – Nursing jobs during the COVID storm, Diversity in Nursing, Nursing Leadership in Crisis, Patient Safety, Emerging and Changing roles of nurses, Compassion fatigue, Attrition & Shortage of Nurses, Demand vs supply-Bridging the gap, Collaborative Nursing and Challenges & Opportunities in Nursing profession.
The conclave concluded with the Panel discussion on topic ‘Nurses: A voice to lead-Invest in nursing and respect rights to secure global health’.
