Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of the “One Nation” concept, ZENZO Ambulance Service has launched India’s largest AI-driven ambulance network. The service aims to transform emergency medical transportation across the country. With a toll-free central control number, 1 800 102 1298, and the ZENZO Customer app available on iOS and Android platforms, the network ensures prompt and effective emergency and non-emergency ambulance services in over 450 cities and towns.
ZENZO’s network comprises more than 25,000 independently operated ambulances offering Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and 5G Premium ICU services. The network targets a response time of less than 15 minutes from confirmation through its 24/7 control room.
The service supports the “One Nation, One Number, One Pricing” model, providing consistent, reliable, and affordable ambulance transport across India. The pricing structure is as follows:
- BLS Ambulance: ₹1,500 for up to 5 km
- ALS Ambulance: ₹3,500 for up to 5 km
- 5G Premium ICU Ambulance: ₹5,000 for up to 5 km
Additional distance is charged at standard rates.
Key features include GPS tracking, live ambulance tracking through the ZENZO platform, and an AI-powered backend optimising efficiency and reliability. Ambulance owners and supervisors can monitor operations through a dedicated app.
Co-founder and CEO Sweta Mangal stated, “22 years ago, we launched emergency life support ambulance services in Mumbai. Today, as India’s largest ambulance service company, we strive to ensure reliable emergency transport is available for all. The AI-driven ZENZO Network moves us closer to our vision of ‘One Nation, One Number, One Pricing.’”
Chief Operating Officer Praveen Menezes highlighted the network’s comprehensive capabilities. “With its state-of-the-art control room, skilled medical personnel, and round-the-clock operations, ZENZO provides peace of mind to individuals, families, and corporate entities during medical emergencies,” he said.
Founded in 2002 as ZHL/1298, ZENZO was established by Shaffi Mather, Sweta Mangal, Naresh Jain, and Manish Sacheti. The initiative has played critical roles in responding to major crises, including the 2005 Mumbai floods and the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. ZENZO also manages ambulance services for Reliance Group facilities, reflecting its longstanding association with Mukesh Ambani and Reliance Foundation.
Subscription services are available for individuals, corporates, and institutions, offering benefits such as quick access to ambulance transport and demonstrating a commitment to employee health and safety.
Shaffi Mather expressed gratitude to key supporters, including Mukesh Ambani, Neeta Ambani, and the late Ratan Tata, who backed ZENZO in its early stages. He reaffirmed ZENZO’s commitment to advancing the vision of sustainable life support ambulance services across India.
ZENZO’s launch on 28 December 2024 coincides with the birthdays of Dhirubhai Ambani and Ratan Tata, underscoring the inspiration they provided to the organisation.
