Indian Spinal Injuries Center (ISIC) has been awarded the prestigious “Most Patient Friendly Award” by Association of Healthcare Providers of India (AHPI) in a function held recently at Hotel Marriott in Hyderabad (Telangana). The award was given by Governor of Andhra and Telengana, ESL Narasimhan. The award ceremony was held during second conclave of AHPI on sustaining of healthcare services for well being of a common man.
The conclave was attended by more than 450 leaders from all over India. Reportedly, ISIC was the only centre to be awarded in this category from North India.
ISIC is a 146-bedded super-speciality hospital focusing mainly on spine, ortho, sports medicine and joint replacement, neurology, neurosurgery etc. It also runs a postgraduate diploma in ortho, spine, anesthesia, six MPT courses including neurology (occupational), musculoskeletal, sports, cardiopulmonary, neurology(physiotherapy), prosthetics and orthotics.
