A special programme was organised for the legislative assembly employees
Mission Freedom from Diabetes was recently launched at Maharashtra Legislative Assembly by Madhavbaug. The general secretary of the Maharashtra Legislative Secretariat Officers and Employees BB Waghmare and Madhavbaug together took an initiative and organised a special programme for the legislative assembly employees.
On this occasion, Milind Sardar,Head – Community Health – Madhavbaug, delivered a lecture on ‘Diabetes Free Body’. Sardar said, “The belief that diabetes reversal or getting rid of diabetes is impossible, is a misconception. A combination of proper diet, regular exercise, altering lifestyle and appropriate Ayurvedic medicines along with Panchakarma therapy can certainly help a Type 2 diabetic patient conquer his disease and its threats forever.”
Present on the occasion was the Chief Secretary of the Maharashtra State, Dr Kalase. He gave his best wishes to this mission of Madhavbaug. Also on this occasion, ECG, blood pressure and blood sugar tests were performed by Madhavbaug for more than two hundred officers and employees of the legislative assembly.
During the function, Dr Kalase released the book ‘101 Winners of Freedom from Diabetes’ and the Diwali Special edition of Arogya Sanskar. Along with that, Dr Kalase symbolically flagged of the Madhumeh Mukta Maharashtra Sankalp Yatra. The slogan, ‘Diabetes Shall Lose, Maharashtra Shall Win’ rent the air at the Mantralaya premises.
