MediBuddy appoints Nijil George as Senior Vice President and Head of Operations

MediBuddy strengthens leadership with the appointment of Nijil George, bringing over two decades of operational expertise from Amazon and Marico

MediBuddy, India’s leading digital healthcare platform, has announced the appointment of Nijil George as Senior Vice President and Head of Operations. Nijil joins the leadership team with over 21 years of experience in operations, having previously worked with industry leaders such as Amazon and Marico.

In his new role, Nijil will lead operational initiatives at MediBuddy, focusing on expanding the network, enhancing customer experience, optimising costs, and fostering a culture of executional excellence. He will oversee efforts to scale healthcare delivery in alignment with MediBuddy’s mission to provide high-quality healthcare to a billion people.

An alumnus of Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon, Nijil has consistently delivered transformative results throughout his career. At Amazon India, he played a key role in improving productivity and driving operational quality, contributing to Amazon becoming a benchmark in the industry. Among his achievements was the launch of a voice assistant-based automated training program that scaled onboarding during peak periods. At Marico, his innovative approach to commodity forecasting earned him the Marico Innovation Award.
