To open new centres in Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad
UK-based NU Cosmetic Clinic announced its intent to further strengthen and consolidate its Indian operation managed by its Indian arm, Nu Cosmetic India. Further, Nu Cosmetic Clinic has committed $11 million (Rs 66 crore) to fuel the planned expansion of Nu Cosmetic India and is exploring sharing technical resource on a regular basis.
As part of the expansion plan, Nu Cosmetic India, plans to open seven more centres in Bengaluru across different locations so as to be in the neighbourhood of its patrons, besides setting up one centre each in Chennai and Hyderabad before this fiscal end. All these centres will have facilities to offer high-end surgical and non-surgical procedures under one roof.
Marie Jenkins, Sales Director, Nu Cosmetic Clinic, UK said, “We have witnessed steady demand for cosmetology services in India. While initially high income group individuals used to patronise cosmetic and aesthetic treatments, we are increasingly seeing upper middle class group also evincing interest not only in these services, but also seeking newer basket of services.” In tune with this trend we are keen to offer contemporary services and also expand geographically and the planned investment is a reflection of our commitment to Indian market, she added.
Niraj Manglam, CEO, NU Cosmetic India, “Buoyed by the response we have received and also to fulfill the unmet demand for cosmetic and aesthetic treatments, we are keen to further penetrate the market by not only strengthening our current offerings but also add a bouquet of new services to our product portfolio.”
The second centre of Nu Cosmetic India was recently inaugurated at Whitefield by noted actor Vasundhara Das. Nu Cosmetic Clinic has an existing facility at Koramangala in Bangalore and Khar (West) in Mumbai.
