Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and Allied Health Science Colleges of Karnataka are organising a national conference for allied health sciences (AHS) fraternity from 1st to 3rd February, 2020. Being held at NIMHANS Convention Centre, Bengaluru, the summit will focus on the following:
- Need for focus on AHS courses
- AHS as an important part of booming healthcare industry
- Creating public awareness on AHS
- Introduction to new techniques
- Introduction and sensitisation to research
- Creating awareness about biomedical instrumentation
- Exposing students to benefits of AI in healthcare
- Awareness about BLS and ACCLS conducted by RGUHS
- Common syllabus for all AHS courses
The three-day conference will also witness veterans from the industry deliberating on the above-mentioned topics, along with other focus areas like cardiac care technology, optometry, renal dialysis, clinical reserach, medical imaging technology, public health and neurosciences, among others.
