The SEARCH Foundation, a prominent organisation delivering healthcare in rural India, has announced a partnership with Vitonnix UK, a global leader in health and wellness innovations. As part of this initiative, Vitonnix UK has donated 20,000 bottles of its flagship product, Vitamin D Sublispray, valued at Rs 1 crore, to support underserved communities across rural India. This initiative aligns with Vitonnix UK’s goal to make innovative health solutions accessible to the masses.
Vitonnix UK’s Sublispray technology delivers vitamins and essential nutrients directly into the bloodstream through a sublingual spray, bypassing the digestive system. This method allows for rapid and effective nutrient absorption and preserves essential micronutrients by avoiding the gastric route. It is particularly useful for individuals who face challenges with swallowing pills or experience fatigue from daily supplements.
Vitamin D is essential for the absorption of calcium, magnesium, and phosphate, which are vital for bone health. Studies indicate that nearly 70 per cent of Indians are deficient in Vitamin D. The Sublispray offers an accessible and effective solution, addressing this deficiency with a user-friendly alternative to pills. The spray is available in various flavours, making it suitable for people of all ages and health conditions.
The partnership between SEARCH Foundation and Vitonnix UK aims to improve health outcomes by distributing Vitamin D Sublispray products in rural areas with limited access to nutrition and healthcare. SEARCH Foundation, led by Dr Abhay Bang and Dr Rani Bang, has been instrumental in delivering healthcare to these regions.
Dr Anand Bang, Director of Health Services at SEARCH Foundation, said, “We are deeply grateful for Vitonnix UK’s generous contribution. This donation will significantly strengthen our efforts in combating micronutrient deficiencies in rural areas of India, where access to essential healthcare remains a challenge. Vitamin D supplementation is crucial for improving overall health and preventing diseases, especially in communities with limited nutritional resources. Together, we can enhance the health and quality of life for thousands of underserved individuals.”
The initiative also received commendation from His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for South Asia and Deputy High Commissioner for Western India, Harjinder Kang, who stated, “Congratulations to Vitonnix UK on your generous contribution to this important cause. Your support is a clear endorsement of your commitment to improving lives, not only by driving innovation in sublingual sprays which is going to be a game changer, but also as part of your commitment to giving back to communities across India. This donation reflects your deep-rooted dedication to creating a healthier future for all.”
Dr Prashant Jindal, Founder of Vitonnix UK, added, “Vitonnix UK is proud to support the SEARCH Foundation’s noble mission by providing Vitamin D Sublispray products to the underserved communities. We believe that health should be accessible to all, and our innovative products are designed to help address the nutritional needs of those who may lack access to traditional healthcare. Through this donation, we aim to bridge the essential health gaps and bring vital wellness solutions to those who need them most.”
The donated products will be integrated into SEARCH’s community health programs, addressing the root causes of micronutrient deficiencies while providing immediate health benefits. The partnership seeks to contribute to the long-term well-being of communities with limited healthcare access.
