Sodexo India has inaugurated a new Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) facility in Kolkata, equipped with specialised labs to support the maintenance of up to 5 lakh medical devices. 

With the new facility, Sodexo aims to minimise equipment downtime, providing support to healthcare providers for optimal delivery of health and care services across the state of West Bengal and widening the scope of operations across markets. The new facility will be covering public health care setups, government hospitals, small and medium diagnostics centres and medical colleges in the Presidency region, Burdwan and Jalpaiguri. Additionally, it will enable Sodexo to scale up its HTM operations and support the expansion of biomedical equipment maintenance in other markets.

Features of Sodexo’s Kolkata HTM office:

  1. There are six specialised labs catering to a range of healthcare equipment and devices such as Electro-Technical lab, Pressure, Acceleration and Speed Lab, QA Testing Lab, Mass & Volume Lab, Thermal Lab, Inhouse Repair Lab and warehouse.
  2.  Sodexo’s HTM digital solution helps healthcare providers to access inventory status, gain real-time updates on complaints, and automatic scheduling as per regulations. A customisable digital MIS dashboard facilitates end-to-end service delivery with an overview of the complete equipment lifecycle. 
  3. The new facility employs over 270+ technical staff including engineers, 80+ subject matter experts, and, health and safety certified experts for quality, supporting all audits and accreditation.
