SRM Global Hospitals and Global Doctors collaborate to treat patients from Asia Pacific

As per the agreement, SRM Global Hospitals will also provide teleconsultations to patients of Global Doctors and share clinical knowledge with their healthcare professionals

SRM Global Hospitals will provide treatment for patients from Malaysia and other Asia Pacific countries in various specialities in Chennai, following an MoU the hospital signed today with Global Doctors – Malaysia, part of the Global Doctors Alliance, which represents a growing network of affiliated medical centres in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Turkey and China.

As per the agreement, SRM Global Hospitals will also provide teleconsultations to patients of Global Doctors and share clinical knowledge with their healthcare professionals. The hospital is expected to get patients and medical tourists of Global Doctors mainly for treatments in specialities like cardiology, cardiothoracic, neurology, gastroenterology, and orthopaedics.

The MoU signing ceremony was held in the presence of Dato’ Dr Sharifah Fauziah Alhabshi, Executive Chairman, Dr Navindra Nageswaran, Medical and MD, Suhaila Mohd Kassim, COO and DON, Nagiah Alidrus, Top Glove Global Doctors Medical Centre, Malaysia, Manager, and Mohamed Shariff – Director of Medical and Business Development, Global Doctors.
The Global Doctors alliance aimed at facilitating ease of referrals between countries and to ensure that their patients receive the same quality of healthcare and service standards in any of the countries of the partner medical centres.
