The Centre of Alliance for Collaborative Health (COACH), a consortium formed by the Association of National Board Accredited Institutions (ANBAI), Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI), and Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organisations (CAHO), was officially launched in Delhi on September 14, 2024. The event was attended by senior healthcare professionals from both the public and private sectors.
Union Health Minister J P Nadda endorsed the initiative, expressing his appreciation for the collaboration between ANBAI, AHPI, and CAHO. He acknowledged their efforts and contributions to improving healthcare standards. Dr Devi Shetty, the founding patron of all three organisations, also extended his support for the alliance, offering his blessings.
The leadership of ANBAI, AHPI, and CAHO has previously collaborated informally on several healthcare initiatives. The formalisation of these efforts through COACH aims to drive continuous improvements in healthcare delivery.
COACH’s objective is to enhance patient safety, raise quality standards, and improve regulatory practices in the sector. By combining their strengths, the organisations hope to advocate for accessible, quality healthcare for all citizens.
The alliance will benefit from a structure that blends the experience of its founding members with the energy and innovation of younger leaders. This combination is seen as essential for navigating the complexities of modern healthcare. COACH aims to drive meaningful change through its collaborative efforts, with the belief that working together can transform healthcare delivery across the nation.
