The approach to offer patients a wider range of treatment options, potentially with improved outcomes

Artemis Hospital, based in Delhi NCR, announced the launch of its Brachytherapy program, offering patients an effective and minimally invasive treatment option for a variety of cancer treatments.

Brachytherapy involves placing radioactive implants directly within or near the tumor site, delivering a targeted dose of radiation with minimal impact on surrounding healthy tissues.

This approach delivers a concentrated dose of radiation directly to the tumor, minimizing damage to healthy tissue. Along with it, the treatment courses are often shorter than traditional radiation therapy, leading to faster recovery times for patients.

Brachytherapy can be particularly effective in alleviating symptoms associated with certain cancers, such as pain or bleeding.
