Bangalore Baptist Hospital launches course in healthcare quality management
Called ‘ Fellowship in Healthcare Quality Management’, it is a one year course which will commence from May 31, 2013
In a bid to improve quality standards in healthcare organisations across the country, Bangalore Baptist Hospital is conducting an innovative programme called “Fellowship in Healthcare Quality Management” (FHQM) in India. This course will commence from May 31, 2013. The first batch will have six students from five different hospitals across India. It will be inaugurated by Dr KK Kalra, CEO, NABH.
The advisory board and faculty of the course would include Dr Giridhar Gyani, Director General, AHPI; Dr KK Kalra, CEO, NABH; Dr Venkatesh Thuppil, Prinicipal Advisor, QCI; Dr Pawan Kapoor, Chairman,Technical Committee, NABH; Dr Karanjekar – CEO & Medical Director, Global Hospitals & Chairman, Technical Committee- NABH; Dr Prem Nair, Director, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre & President, AHPI; Dr Arati Verma, Vice President, Max Healthcare & Secretary General, Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organizations (CAHO), Beenamma Kurian, Nurse Supervisor (St John’s Medical College) and Principal assessor, NABH; Dr Vikram Kashyap- Prinicipal Assessor, NABH; Dr Alexander Thomas, Director, Bangalore Baptist Hospital & President, CAHO and Dr Badari Datta – Head of Quality Department, Bangalore Baptist Hospital.
The course will be for a duration of one year with three months of in-house training by renowned quality experts in Bangalore Baptist Hospital.
