Dr LH Hiranandani Hospital launches ‘forEve’
Dr LH Hiranandani hospital has launched a campaign for working women’s health in Mumbai called ‘forEve’. The idea of the campaign is to understand women’s health issues through a ‘crowd-sourcing’ model and drive awareness among women by direct engagement through online activities and local events. An expert panel of doctors including Dr Harish Shetty (psychiatry), Dr Anita Soni (gynaecology), Dr Anurag Lila (endocrinology) and Richa Anand (dietetics) will guide the campaign.
“The rising cases of mental health issues and hormonal disorders (thyroids, PCOS) warrants a sustained effort to inform, educate and motivate women to make informed choices about health and hence the idea of forEve campaign,” said Dr Sujit Chatterjee, CEO, Dr LH Hiranandani Hospital.
The focus of ‘forEve’ campaign is to drive orientation towards three key elements, nutrition, emotions and wellness, that are essential for good health. While diseases like cancer or cardiac ailments attract lot of attention, it is everyday health issues that impact quality of life for women. An analysis of executive check-ups at Dr LH Hiranandani Hospital earlier indicated high incidence of anemia among senior executive women, which most were unaware.
‘forEve’ is a six month campaign starting October 1, 2014, and culminates in March 2015.
