FEHI to host International Conclave on Revolutionary Cardiac Therapies in New Delhi
Fortis Escorts Heart Institute (FEHI), Delhi will host the ‘International Conclave on Revolutionary Cardiac Therapies: Setting benchmarks for the future’ on February 9-10, 2014 in the capital. The two-day event is expected to see the best minds in cardiac sciences from across the world deliberate upon the future of cardiac care.

Experts will also discuss differing international views on lipid profile management, recent guidelines for management of hypertension, ground realities and challenges of heart transplant and the feasibility of a total artificial heart. They will touch upon vulnerabilities and risk factors for cardiovascular diseases and heart failure in Indian Asians and the role of lifestyle management in future cardiac care. Lectures by different speakers will be punctuated by panel discussions, summations, clinical trial updates and workshops based on knowledge sharing and case presentations. Experienced cardiologists will also share fascinating insights from their personal and professional journeys. There will also be several workshops to train cardiologists from across the country in new aspects of cardiac investigation and treatment.
