The first car rally exclusively for doctors and healthcare professionals, beginning this month, promises to give these busy professionals an opportunity to combine their love for motersports with work. The event promises to be a lot of fun as admirers can watch the sharp acumen of healthcare professionals come together with speed and thrill as they take on the wheel, driving from Mumbai to Lavasa.
The rally is being organised on June 29 by Dreamz Integrated Marketing & Communications, to promote adventure sports among doctors and healthcare managers.
Dreamz Director, Ganesh Lakshmanan said that healthcare leaders will get an opportunity to combine business with adventure. “The rally is the first of its kind, where we are aiming to bring all the leaders in the healthcare fraternity together to have fun and do business at leisure. This is a unique opportunity for the leaders of the industry bound by a single passion of driving to come together. Not to forget the fun, food and entertainment that follows the exciting journey,” he said.
The rally is witnessing a major demand for participation. Even as entries nearing closing, doctors and healthcare workers across Mumbai and motor-sport enthusiasts from other parts of the country are rushing in with entry forms to be part of the rally.
Lakshmanan said that the participants would be judged on time, speed, distance (TSD) parameters. So, it is more about sensible navigation through terrains and traffic.
Lakshmanan said that the exhilarating rally would be preceded by a briefing session over high-tea on June 28. All the participants would get grand opportunity to connect with other enthusiasts while being updated about the rally’s regulations over colorful conversations. Registration is open to motor-sport lover doctors, medical and healthcare professionals, management and authorities of hospitals and clinics.
