Dr Ajay Bakshi has been elevated to the board of Max Healthcare as it Managing Director. Dr Bakshi joined Max Healthcare on November 1, 2011 as its CEO and has led significant improvements in the clinical, operational, service and financial performance of Max Healthcare. In his new role as the Managing Director and CEO, Dr Ajay Bakshi is expected to continue raising the standards of medical, service and performance delivery to the highest standards.
Under Dr Ajay Bakshi’s able leadership, Max Healthcare launched four new hospitals which has reportedly doubled bed capacity, maintained the hospital’s reputation for clinical excellence, and achieved significant turnaround in financial performance.
Dr Bakshi has played diverse roles as practicing Neurosurgeon (India), Stem cell Scientist (US), and Management Consultant (global) over the last two decades. In his last role, Dr Bakshi was an Associate Partner with McKinsey and Company where he worked for more than six years. He helped to create and lead McKinsey’s global mobile healthcare practice.
