This institute is an emergency related super speciality, teaching, research, academic and unique charitable cardiac institute. It has a capacity of 450 beds with two cardiac flat panel cathlab and 52 bedded MICU. The institute runs a unique, free cardiac school health programme and free cardiac treatment to SC/ST/BPL card holders of Gujarat and unique emergency medical cardiac services programme where the patient is treated without any deposit for the first 12 hours to cover up the ‘First Golden Hour’.
