KITES Senior Care, a division of Lifebridge Senior Care, founded by Rajagopal G, Dr A S Arvind, and Dr Reema Nadig, has launched a new Geriatric Care Centre on Kanakapura Road, Bengaluru. The centre will offer seniors, personalised transitional and rehab care to support their recovery after surgery, palliative and hospice care focused on comfort and pain management, and dependable respite care.
The Kanakapura Road Centre is designed with the aim to cater to the unique needs of the elderly. The facility offers 82 beds, including rooms and High Dependency Units (HDUs) to ensure residents’ comfort and safety. Spanning four floors, the centre features an expansive terrace lawn with an open-air seating area, perfect for socialising and relaxation.
The centre offers a physiotherapy hall and terrace garden designed to accommodate multiple seniors for group sessions, fostering a sense of community while addressing individual health needs. Additionally, an Ayurveda studio will soon be available, providing traditional wellness treatments. The centre provides 24/7 medical services. It is staffed with trained doctors, therapists, nurses and caretakers.
The new Kanakapura road facility will be the fifth in India, with existing centres in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The brand has plans to further expand its presence across South India beyond these cities.
Recently, the company announced a strategic merger with Columbia Pacific Communities. This partnership has resulted in the acquisition of 2,000 senior living and assisted living units, with plans to add 3,000 more over the next five years. The expansion will focus on integrating these facilities to create a comprehensive continuing care retirement community.
KITES Senior Care recently completed its Series A funding round, raising Rs 45 crores, with a substantial investment of Rs 45 crores from Dr Ranjan Pai.
