Dr Mohan Thomas

World Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, headquartered in Switzerland, selected Dr Mohan Thomas, a leading Indian cosmetic surgeon for his contribution in the field of cosmetic surgery, for their Hall of Fame.
The society, formed five years ago, aims to recognise doctors for their contributions in the field of cosmetic surgery and medicine, technological advances and how they approach cosmetic surgery in their respective countries.
The selection is based on two criteria – one, it is evidence based, and two, keeping with recent times (where everything has to be ‘quick’) the downtime of every procedure has to be minimal.
This year the conference was held in Germany where Dr Thomas was felicitated for his contributions on the safety aspect of cosmetic surgery and non surgical procedures.
