Despite growing awareness and advancements in autism care, measurable short-term progress has remained a challenge for children on the spectrum. However, recent data from Continua Kids, provider of specialised pediatric therapy, reveals a 88 per cent improvement in developmental outcomes within just six months, signaling a breakthrough in the field.

In a comprehensive evaluation conducted across 11 centers in Delhi NCR (Dwarka, Ghaziabad, Lajpat Nagar, Pitampura, Rajouri, Noida, Gurugram, and Faridabad), data from 100 patients aged 2 to 8 years highlighted consistent success. Advanced therapy programs, including Speech Therapy (ST), Occupational Therapy (OT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Physiotherapy (PT), and Special Education (SE), contributed significantly to these outcomes.

The company’s process includes assessments by doctors, followed by further evaluations by the center branch head and therapy head, ensuring thorough scrutiny before therapy implementation. They integrate a tech-driven app that allows parents and doctors to track the child’s progress in real time.

Their research indicates that new patients undergoing therapy achieved a 67 per cent improvement rate, while returning patients showed even greater progress, with 83 per cent achieving measurable advancements. In November and December alone, results from seven clinics revealed that 75 per cent of children demonstrated significant improvements, reaffirming Continua Kids’ evidence-based approach.

Dr Himani Narula Khanna, Co-Founder & Director, Continua Kids, said, “What makes this particularly promising is the blend of early intervention, structured therapy programs, and our robust progress-tracking system that allows us to refine treatment in real time. These figures reflect tangible, life-changing progress for children and their families.”

Dr Puja Kapoor, Co-Founder and Director, Continua Kids, added, “Our findings show that every child needs continued therapy designed to suit their personal needs. Therapist dedication and our program methods result in better outcomes for both new and returning patients.”

Research continues to show that advanced therapy methods are pivotal in enhancing social skills, cognitive abilities, and overall development in children with autism. Data from earlier studies in 2024 demonstrated that 85 per cent of participants made notable advancements, underlining the effectiveness of these therapies.
