AffordPlan ties up with 120 hospitals in Delhi NCR

The startup aims to achieve the largest physical hospital distribution network for financial services by the next quarter

AffordPlan, a fintech startup based in Delhi, has joined hands with 120 hospitals in Delhi NCR. AffordPlan will enable end-to-end structuring and management of patient prepayments at these hospitals. Some of the partner hospitals include Batra Hospital, BM Gupta Hospital, Mahindru Hospital, Ashok Nursing Home. At some of these partner hospitals, more than 200 procedures each are being planned or have already been completed over the last few months. AffordPlan is targeted at non-emergency procedures such as pregnancy, fertility treatments, dental care, eye care, orthopaedics, and other expensive diagnostics.

AffordPlan is working towards providing affordable and accessible healthcare services through the unique combination of technology and financial services. It enables hospitals to design user-adaptive financial plans for their patients to help them save and pay their treatment expenses, in advance, through flexible and convenient methods. Not only does this ensure accessibility for the patients but also guarantees zero credit risk for the hospitals where they undergo treatments. For its partner hospitals, AffordPlan provides sophisticated and personalised data analytics, which includes footfall statistics, patient demographics, estimates and conversions. AffordPlan also provides the hospitals with the visibility of future cash flows, which enables the hospital to deliver the prescribed treatment without any interruptions and also decreases incidences of cash flow issues for patients to avail medical care.

AffordPlan helps in providing a stable financial support system for patients, especially for those who delay medical treatments for the lack of cash. It smoothens the financial situation for the patient by breaking up the lump sum amount into smaller manageable installments. Patients can decide how much to save on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis — as per their chosen plan and then make regular payments at their convenience.
