AHPI and IMA pen down book to empower healthcare professionals
The Book, "Perils in Practice: The Prevention of Violence against Healthcare Professionals," will be officially released on 16th October, 2022 in Delhi
The Association of Healthcare Providers of India (AHPI), in its endeavour to empower and equip the healthcare professionals to be able to efficiently handle difficult situations such as, threatening, harassment and violence at workplace, has produced the book titled “Perils in Practice: The Prevention of Violence against Healthcare Professionals,” jointly with the Indian Medical Association (IMA).
The contributors to this book include eminent members from the judiciary, medical, law enforcement, policy makers, and distinguished public and media representatives.
The introduction to the book has been written by HD Deve Gowda, Former Prime Minister of India and the foreword has been penned by Justice M N Venkatachaliah, former Chief Justice of India and former Chairman, Human Rights Commission.
The book will be officially released at the United Service Institution of India (USII), Delhi, on 16th October, 2022, in the presence of dignitaries.
