The doctor will be posted besides an allopathy practitioner

Union AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik said every primary health centres (PHCs) in the country will have a doctor from alternative medicine systems besides an allopathy practitioner. Naik said doctors either from Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani and Siddha streams will be placed at the government-run PHCs.

“All PHCs in the country will now have AYUSH doctors besides allopathy practitioners,” Naik said. He said the people would be introduced to alternative medicine through such measures.

“Right now, the primary health centres have doctors only from Allopathy stream but now there will be a doctor either from Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha or Homeopathy,” the North Goa MP said.

Naik said his ministry will set up 2,500 AYUSH wellness centres across the country during the first phase of the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which was launched earlier by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“We have a quota of setting up 1.12 lakh AYUSH wellness centres across the country under this scheme. In the first phase, we will set up 2500 centres,” he said. Naik said his ministry was also in the process of setting up 150 AYUSH hospitals, for which the Centre will provide funds. “We have to create AYUSH infrastructure so that people know about its benefits. We cannot convince people to go for these medicines till we introduce them at their doorsteps,” he said.

Definitely true. He is saying this since 5years. Frankly speaking AYUSH Doctors are working under allopathic doctor and they are forced to give allopathic medicines and are extensively dominated by allopathic Doctors. I was working under such scheme. These Doctors are not even paid a basic salary . They are still working below 30k on an average or some even below that. Since their medicines are not in stock, when patients ask for medicines they would suggest it buy from outside or the doctor would get medicines personally, which is accused as illegal.

My practice in the field of medical practionar not more than five years I practice both pathy as an Ayurvedic Physician as well as allopathic but I have seen the interest of patients to the ayurvedic medicines . The credibility of ayurvedic medicines are too much .People hope very high from Ayush Doctor but we are unable to fulfilled their satisfaction because .1. We have not well equipped setup . 2 Our system lack of coordinations 3 Govt only doing broadcasting , no thing on the surface . 4 we have lack of formulation & packaging of medicines as compare to allopathic medicines 5. Our Govt not want to develop our own system of medicines they does partiality .they should prove equal opportunities all fields of jobs

It’s a very good initiative of the NDA govt to place in service of an ayush doctor in every phc in the country. I have personally experienced effectiveness of ayush treatment myself when I have skin and liver problem.
A lot of thanks to the central ministry!

The core belief behind Homeopathy is “like cures like”. Suppose a healthy individual experiences certain symptoms due to a particular substance. In that case, the same substance in smaller proportions might be able to cure the affliction in a person exhibiting similar symptoms. For instance, red onion inflicts watery eyes. That is one of the reasons why red onion or allium cepa is used in homeopathy for the treatment of a few particular allergies. Even certain traditional vaccines are based on this principle. A vaccine is formulated with inactive viruses that aid our body in defending against the development and spread of the disease caused by those viruses.
