AMRI Group organises ‘AMRICON Surgery Update 2016’

The day-long national conference was attended by more than 200 delegates from across the country

AMRI Group of Hospitals recently organised a day-long national conference on recent advances in surgical specialities ‘AMRICON Surgery Update 2016’ in Kolkata. Inaugurating the conference, Dr Chandrima Bhattacharya, Chairperson, West Bengal Medical Service Corporation, said, “We are glad that AMRI Group of Hospitals has taken this initiative to host ‘AMRICON Surgery Update 2016’ in Kolkata. The state has made improvements in terms of health infrastructure.”

AMRI Group has been organising AMRICON for years and this is the sixth edition of the conference on surgery. Around 200 delegates took part in the conference from across the country including eminent medical professionals and faculties from top ranked hospitals from India and abroad.

They were Dr Debashish Ghosh, Consultant Breast & Oncoplastic Surgeon, Royal Free Hospital, UK; Dr Maneesh Sinha, Consultant Urologist, NU Hospitals, Bangalore; Dr Anshuman Agarwal, Senior Consultant, Urology and Robotic Surgery, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Delhi; Dr Sanjay Kumar Pandey, Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeon, Batra Hospital, New Delhi etc. They all shared the latest trends and innovation in surgery procedures.
